Hannes Alfvén Prize
The Hannes Alfvén Prize (actually English Hannes Alfvén Prize ) of the plasma physics division of the European Physical Society (EPS) has been a prize awarded annually since 2000 at the EPS conference for plasma physics. It is named after Hannes Alfvén .
There is also a Hannes Alfvén Medal from the European Geosciences Union , which has been awarded annually since 1997 for research into plasma phenomena in the solar system and cosmos.
