Xenophon is a small impact crater on the southern rim of the giant crater Fermi crater , west of Tsiolkovskiy crater . South of Xenophon is 'Zhiritskiy F', a satellite crater of the Zhiritskiy Crater, south-southwest outside the edge of Fermi .
The crater rim of Xenophon is eroded and, especially on the west side, broken up by several mini-craters. The crater floor shows no striking features.
The crater is on the back of the Earth's moon and cannot be directly observed from Earth.
