Xiaoyuan

Xiaoyuan ( Chinese  小宛 , Pinyin Xiǎoyuān ) was a small state south of the southern route of the Silk Road in the southern mountainous region of today's Qarqan County ( Qiemo ) in the Chinese autonomous region of Xinjiang , its area could not be precisely located. In the time of the Han Dynasty it numbered 1,050 people and supported 200 soldiers. Its main town was Yuling ( 扜 零 城 ). He was one of the Thirty-Six Kingdoms of the Western Regions ( Xiyu ).
