Xinhua (Loudi)

Xinhua County ( 新化 县 , Xīnhuà Xiàn ) is a district of the prefecture -level city of Loudi in the center of the Chinese province of Hunan . It has an area of ​​3,635 square kilometers and has 1.29 million inhabitants (2003). It is located on the middle reaches of the Zi Shui资 水River . The main town is the community of Shangmei上 梅 镇.
