Xishui (Zunyi)

Xishui ( 习水县 , Xíshuǐ Xiàn ) is a Chinese district in the prefecture of Zunyi in Guizhou Province . It has an area of ​​3,128 km² and has 670,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large community of Donghuang (东皇 镇).

The site of the Fourfold Crossing of the Chishui River by the Red Army (1935) ( Hongjun Sidu Chishui zhanyi jiuzhi红军 四渡赤水 战役 旧址) has been on the List of Monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-1048) since 2006 .
