Xiu Xiu
Xiu Xiu [ʃuː ʃuː] is an alternative independent rock band from San José ( USA ) , the founder and sole permanent member of which is Jamie Stewart. The band emerged in 1999 from the group Ten In The Swear Jar . Their music is mostly described as autobiographical and theatrical - with strong influences from modern classical or improvised music, Britpop and Post-Punk (especially Joy Division ).
