The Xiyanchi Tombs ( Chinese  洗 砚池 墓群 , Pinyin Xǐyànchí mùqún ) in the city of Linyi in the southeast of the Chinese province of Shandong are two well-preserved, brick-built tombs from the time of the Western Jin Dynasty . They were discovered in May and June 2003 during construction work on the former residence of the famous calligrapher Wang Xizhi and contained an abundance of funerary objects. Since 2006 they have been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-258) . They are also known under the Chinese name Shāndōng Línyí Xǐyànchí Jìnmù ( 山东 临沂 洗 砚池 晋 墓  - "Jin tombs of Xiyanchi, Linyi, Shandong").
