Xoʻjaobod is a city in the Uzbek province of Andijon in the Ferghana Valley and the capital of the district of the same name .

The city is located about 25 km southeast of the provincial capital Andijon and thus about halfway between Andijon and the Kyrgyz city ​​of Osh . At Xoʻjaobod, the Southern Ferghana Canal branches off from the Shahrixonsoy .

Xoʻjaobod is named after the local historian and religious scholar Xoja Abdullo Mavloniy Qozi. In 1981 the settlement received city rights. According to the population census in 1989, Xoʻjaobod had 12,831 inhabitants, according to a calculation for 2004 the population was 17,200.
