Yōhei Takaoka ( Japanese 高丘 陽平 , Takaoka Yōhei ; born March 16, 1996 in Yokohama , Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Yōhei Takaoka learned to play football in the youth team of Yokohama FC . Here he signed his first professional contract in 2014. The club from Yokohama , a city in the Japanese prefecture of Kanagawa , played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . From 2014 to 2015 he played four times in the J.League U-22 Selection . This team, which played in the third division, the J3 League , was made up of the best young players from the higher-class clubs. The team was founded with a view to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro . The players were selected on a weekly basis from a pool for which each club was able to name talented individuals worth promoting; the composition of the team therefore varied greatly from game to game. In 2018 he was loaned to Sagan Tosu , a first division club from Tosu . After the loan ended, Sagan Tosu signed him.
