Yōhei Taniike ( Japanese 谷 池 洋 平 Taniike Yōhei ; born April 5, 1977 in Hyōgo Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Taniike learned to play soccer on the school team of Shimizu Commercial High School and the university team of Tsukuba University . He signed his first contract with Vissel Kobe in 2000 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2001 he moved to third division club Otsuka Pharmaceutical (today: Tokushima Vortis). In 2004 he was with the club master of the Japan Football League and rose to the J2 League . In 2007 he moved to third division club Tochigi SC . In 2008 he moved to league rivals Sony Sendai FC . At the end of 2013, he ended his career as a football player.
