Yōji Sakai ( Japanese 堺 陽 二 Sakai Yōji ; born December 13, 1977 in Saitama Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Sakai learned to play soccer on the university team at Takushoku University . He signed his first contract with Thespa Kusatsu in 2000 . At the end of the 2004 season, the club rose to the J2 League . At the end of 2006 he ended his career as a football player.
