In the form of comic strips , scenes, characters or events from the original video animation from 1990 are parodied. The figures appear in a chibi shape, in other words, caricatured in a belittling way. The German magazine MangasZene describes the manga as a successful parody of the anime Record of Lodoss War , which is "an absolute must for Lodoss fans" . But even for those who do not know the anime, most of the jokes are understandable.
