Yōmei
Yōmei ( Japanese 用 明天 皇 , Yōmei-tennō ; * 540 ; † May 21, 587 ) was the 31st Tennō of Japan .
He sat on the throne between autumn 585 and spring 587. He was the fourth son of Emperor Kimmei and Kitashi-hime, a member of the Soga clan and daughter of Soga no Iname . Shōtoku Taishi (Prince Umayado) was his son.
