Yōsuke Sakamoto ( Japanese 坂 元 要 介 , Sakamoto Yōsuke ; born January 12, 1974 in the Kyoto prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Sakamoto learned to play soccer on the school team of Takigawa Daini High School and the university team of Doshisha University . He signed his first contract with Kyoto Purple Sanga in 1996 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club he completed seven top division games. He then played for Sagawa Express Osaka (1997–1999) and FC Kyoto Bamb (2000–2002). At the end of 2002 he ended his career as a football player.
