Career

Akimoto learned to play football in the youth team of Yokohama F. Marinos . He signed his first contract with Yokohama F. Marinos in 2006. The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club, he completed five first division games. In 2012 he moved to the second division Ehime FC . For the club he completed 83 league games. In 2014 he moved to league competitor Shonan Bellmare . In 2014 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose to the J1 League.
