Yūto Horigome ( Japanese 堀 米 悠 斗 , Horigome Yūto ; born September 9, 1994 in Sapporo , Hokkaidō Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Yūto Horigome learned to play football in the youth team of Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo . Here he signed his first professional contract in 2013. The club from Sapporo played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . In 2014 he was loaned to Fukushima United FC from Fukushima . For the club he played 18 times in the third division, the J3 League . In 2015 he returned to Sapporo after borrowing. In 2016 he became champions of the second division with Sapporo and rose to the first division. After promotion, he left Sapporo and joined the first division club Albirex Niigata from Niigata in 2017 . At the end of 2018, he had to start the path to the second division with Niigata. He is still under contract with Albirex to this day.
