The Yale Tarn is a mountain pool in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is located 1.3 km northeast of Mount Falconer in the Tarn Valley . Along with the Harvard Tarn , the Princeton Tarn and the Penn Tarn, it is one of the four lakes in this valley.
Participants in a campaign carried out by New Zealand's Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions from 1965 to 1966 named him after Yale University .
