Yall , also spelled Y'all , is a Spanish advertising and music project from Barcelona .

history

In May 2008, two DJs and two designers joined forces in Barcelona to create advertising projects. Your name Yall or Y'all is the abbreviation of the English expression "You all". Customers include companies such as Adidas , Ray Ban , Mercedes-Benz and Pull and Bear . In addition to the designers Albert Pedrero and David A. Turover, both graduates of the Escola Superior de Disseny i Enginyeria Elisava in Barcelona, Joan Sala and David Borràs were musically involved. Sala is also known as Nighty Max and is active as a DJ in major clubs and discos in Spain and beyond. He also worked with many national and international acts, including Skrillex . Borràs, known as Heren , made a name for himself as a producer and remixer and has already made numerous publications of his own. He split from Yall in late 2015 to pursue his solo career.

For the autumn 2015 collection of the international fashion label Desigual , the quartet created an advertising campaign with the song Hundred Miles written by Sala and Borràs as the background. The singer Gabriela Richardson, also from Barcelona, contributed the vocals. The song became so popular that it entered the charts in Spain and neighboring France in October. Yall then decided, now as a trio without Borràs, to officially release the song internationally. At the beginning of 2016 Hundred Miles reached number 2 in France and also entered the charts in Switzerland and Germany.
