Yamada Katsumi ( Japanese 山田 勝 巳 ; born June 6, 1905 in Sapporo ; † 1970 ) was a Japanese skier who started in ski jumping and Nordic combined .
Career
Yamada, who started for the University of Hokkaidō , was part of the Japanese team at the 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid . In the individual competition on the normal hill he fell in both rounds at 57 and 51.5 meters and thus finished 32nd. In the following individual in the Nordic Combined he finished 29th after cross-country skiing, but fell again in the first round of jumping, so that he was on At the end again only ranked 32nd.
