Yanbian (Panzhihua)

The Yanbian District ( Chinese  盐边县 , Pinyin Yánbiān Xiàn ) is a district in the south of the southwest Chinese province of Sichuan . It belongs to the administrative area of ​​the prefecture city of Panzhihua . Yanbian has an area of ​​3,269 km² and has a population of around 200,000 (2004). Its main town is the municipality of Tongzilin (桐子 林镇).
