The Yanghai graves or burial grounds of Yanghai ( Chinese  洋 海 墓群 , Pinyin Yánghǎi Mùqún ) are located on the edge of the Turfan Depression on the southern slope of the so-called Flaming Mountains northwest of the village of Yanghaixia ( 洋 海夏 村 , Yánghǎixià Cūn ) 吐 Tuy溝鄉ugou (  /  吐峪沟 乡 , Tùyùgōu Xiāng ) in Piqan County , Shanshan ( 鄯善縣  /  鄯善县 , Shànshàn Xiàn ) of the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region in western China . These are various burial grounds from the Bronze Age to the Tang Dynasty .

Special attention was paid to the cereals discovered there, including Panicum miliaceum , Hordeum vulgare var. Nudum and Triticum aestivum .

In the graves there were also remains of seedlings, leaves and fruits of Cannabis sativa , the age of which could be determined by radiocarbon dating to around 2,500 years.

The Yanghai Tombs have been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 2006 (6-291) .
