Yannis Livadas (2016)

Yannis Livadas ( Greek Γιάννης Λειβαδάς ; born September 26, 1969 in Kalamata ) is a contemporary Greek poet.

He is the author of essays, editor and translator for modern and postmodern literature as well as for haikus and writes poetry himself. He is a columnist and freelance contributor to various literary magazines in Greece and other countries. His poems and essays have been translated into ten languages. He lives in Paris . For the neo- Greekist Karen Van Dyck , Livadas' poetry in the indeterminacy of meaning and syntactic and structural innovation is "of the utmost importance".
