Yanshan (Shangrao)
Yanshan ( Chinese 铅山 县 , Pinyin Yánshān Xiàn ) is a district that belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture -level city of Shangrao in the northeast of the Chinese province of Jiangxi . It has an area of 2,178 km² and has 413,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large community of Hekou (河口 镇).
The E-Hu Academy or " Goose Lake Academy " (Ehu shuyuan 鹅湖 书院) - the scene of a famous debate between the neo-Confucian philosophers Zhu Xi and Lü Zuqian (1137–1181) - has been on the list of monuments since 2006 People's Republic of China (6-607) .
