Wannian
Wannian ( Chinese 万年 县 , Pinyin Wànnián Xiàn ) is a district that belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture -level city of Shangrao in the northeast of the Chinese province of Jiangxi . It has an area of 1,141 km² and has a population of 365,000. Its main town is the large community of Chenying (陈营镇).
The sites of Xianrendong and Diaotonghuan (仙人洞 、 吊桶 环 遗址) from the period between the Paleolithic and Neolithic are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (5-54) .
