The Yasang Kagyu School ( Tib . : g.ya 'bzang bka' brgyud ) is one of the so-called "eight smaller schools" of the Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism ( Vajrayana ). It was founded by Kelden Yeshe Sengge († 1207). The Yasang Monastery in Nêdong County of Shannan , built in 1206 by his student Chökyi Mönlam ( chos kyi smon lam ; 1169–1233), is the founding monastery of this school.
