Yasir Ali Mohammed al-Saadi (born February 13, 1998 ) is an Iraqi sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter run .

Athletic career

Yasir Ali Mohammed al-Saadi gained his first international experience at the Junior Asian Championships 2016 in Ho Chi Minh City , where he was eliminated in the individual competition in 49.88 s in the preliminary run and with the Iraqi 4 x 400 meter relay took fourth place in 3: 12.41 min. Two years later he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time and finished seventh in the season in 3: 07.64 min. The following year he reached the semi-finals at the Asian Championships in Doha , in which he was eliminated with 47.01 s. In addition, he was disqualified with the relay in the final run.
