Yasser El Halaby (born September 30, 1984 in Cairo ) is a former Egyptian squash player .

Career

Yasser El Halaby began his professional career in 2000 and won five titles on the PSA World Tour . He reached his highest place in the world rankings with rank 40 in February 2008. From 2002 to 2006 he attended Princeton University and completed a degree in philosophy . For Princeton, he was also active and very successful in college sports. At world championships he competed several times in the qualification, in 2007 he reached the last qualifying round for the only time.

He played his last tournament in 2010 at the Tournament of Champions . At that time he was already working in the banking industry. He has a brother and a sister.
