Yasuei Yakushiji

Yasuei yakushiji ( Jap. 薬師寺保栄 , Yakushiji Yasuei * 22 July 1968 in Tsukumi , Japan ) is a former Japanese boxer in the bantamweight .

Professional career

In 1987 he successfully started his professional career. On December 23, 1993 he boxed against Byun Jung-il for the world championship title of the association WBC and won by split judge decision. He defended this title a total of four times in a row and lost it in late July 1995 to Wayne McCullough on points. After this defeat he ended his career.
