Yasuko Hashimoto
Yasuko Hashimoto ( Japanese 橋本 康 子 , Hashimoto Yasuko ; born August 12, 1975 in Motomiya ) is a Japanese long-distance runner who became known in Germany for her victory at the 2003 Berlin Marathon .
She achieved her other successes over this distance at the Nagoya Marathon : a fifth place in 2003, a fourth place in 2005 (in her personal best of 2:25:21), a sixth place in 2006 and finally a victory in 2007 in 2:28:49 . In 2003 and 2004 she won the Kagawa Marugame Half Marathon .
At the marathon of the World Athletics Championships 2007 in Osaka , she finished 23rd.
