The Yawning Glacier (German for "yawning glacier") is a glacier in the North Cascades National Park in the US state of Washington ; it is located on the eastern slopes of Magic Mountain . The glacier descends from around 6,800 ft (2,073 m) to around 6,200 ft (1,890 m). The S Glacier is about 0.75 mi (1.2 km) south, the Cache-Col Glacier about 1 mi (1.6 km) northwest.
