Yazid Zerhouni
Noureddine Yazid Zerhouni (* 1937 in Tunis ) is an Algerian politician and diplomat .
Life
In the mid-1970s he worked for the Algerian intelligence service and was head of the intelligence service from the end of the 1970s to 1982. Zerhouni then became Algeria's ambassador to the United States , Japan and Mexico . President Abd al-Aziz Bouteflika appointed him Minister of State and Minister of the Interior in 1999 . He held this office until 2010.
