Ye (Pingdingshan)

Ye ( Chinese 叶县 , Pinyin Yè Xiàn ) is a district in the Chinese province of Henan , which belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture -level city of Pingdingshan . Ye has an area of 1,387 km² and has a population of 820,000. Its main town is Kunyang .

The site of the ancient city of Ye (Yeyi gucheng 叶邑故城) and the old seat of government of Ye County (Ye xian xianya 叶县县衙) have been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 2006 .
