Yebo is a German ska band. Founded in Berlin in 1979 , the band continues to perform regularly with largely unchanged line-ups. In terms of sound, Yebo is based on the "classic" original. Friends of the Skatalites and Don Drummonds will discover many old friends in Yebo's repertoire in addition to Yebo's own compositions. Yebo sound pretty complex with their wide mix of instrumentals and some vocal passages, but by no means aloof. The band's name is derived from the Zulu word for “yes”. Parts of the band are also members of the parallel ensemble Jazzbo , whose focus is even closer to Ska-Jazz .
