The Yeeda River is an arm of the Fitzroy River in the north of the Australian state of Western Australia . It is in the Kimberley region .

geography

The river arm branches south of the settlement Padanus Park from the main river and flows parallel to this to the settlement Yelleen Crossing , with both rivers crossing under the Great Northern Highway at Willare Bridge Roadhouse . At Yelleen Crossing, the Fitzroy River makes a hook to the west, while the Yeeda River continues straight north. South of Yeeda , the Yeeda River flows into the easternmost part of the small delta that the Fitzroy River forms at its confluence with King Sound .
