The Yella Hertzka-Park is a 16,000-square-foot park in 22.  Viennese district , Donaustadt , in the seaside town Aspern .

The park was named after the Austrian women's rights activist and gardener Yella Hertzka (1873-1948), who founded the first higher horticultural school for girls in Vienna in 1913 and headed it until 1938, by resolution of the Vienna City Council Committee for Culture and Science . Construction work started on May 26, 2014 with a groundbreaking ceremony. The opening took place on July 3, 2015.
