The Hannah Arendt Park is a 15,000-square-foot park in 22.  Viennese district , Donaustadt , in the seaside town Aspern .

The park was named after the philosopher and publicist Hannah Arendt by resolution of February 28, 2012 by the Vienna City Council Committee for Culture and Science . Hannah-Arendt-Platz is also located here. Construction work started on May 26, 2014 with a groundbreaking ceremony. The opening took place on May 4, 2015.
