Yeshey Zimba

Lyonpo Yeshey Zimba (* 1952 ) was the Prime Minister of Bhutan from 2000 to 2001 and from 2004 to 2005 . He completed his education at the North Point School in Darjeeling ( India ) and received his bachelor's degree from St. Joseph's College, University of North Bengal in Darjeeling. He then studied economics at the University of Wisconsin in the USA . He finished his studies with a master’s degree .

After the victory of the Bhutanese Party for Peace and Prosperity (DPT) in the April 2008 elections, Yeshey Zimba became Minister of Labor and Urban Development in the Jigme Thinley cabinet on April 11, 2008 .
