Yessica Maria Paz Hidalgo (born October 7, 1989 in Maracay ) is a Venezuelan volleyball player .

Career

Paz Hidalgo played for the Aragua Voleibol Club in her home country . In 2008 she took part with the Venezuelan national team at the Olympic Games in Beijing , but her team dropped out as the group penultimate prematurely. The middle blocker then moved to the Spanish first division club Portol Palma Mallorca . She was supposed to play in Benidorm in 2011 , but the club pulled out due to financial problems. In November, the German Bundesliga club Rote Raben Vilsbiburg reacted to its personnel problems and subsequently signed Paz Hidalgo for the current season. After a serious knee injury in late December 2011, the Rote Raben parted ways with Paz Hidalgo in February 2012. Since 2014 she has been playing for the Swiss runner-up volley Köniz .
