The Venezuelan women's volleyball team is a selection of the best Venezuelan volleyball players who represent the Federación Venezolana de Voleibol at international tournaments and internationals.

World championships

Venezuela has never qualified for a volleyball world championship.

Olympic games

In 2008 in Beijing Venezuela took part in the Olympic tournament for the first time, but remained without a win and finished eleventh after being eliminated in the preliminary round.

South American Championships

At the South American Championship in 1969 Venezuela reached fourth place as hosts. In 1973 Venezuela finished fifth, in 1977 and 1979 there were seventh and sixth places. After finishing fourth in 1983, Venezuela was third in its own country two years later and was able to repeat this success at the next tournament. For the next two years, the Venezuelan women finished fourth and fifth, before returning to third in 1993. This was followed by three fourth places, most recently again as a host. In 2001 they were again one rank better, in 2003 they were missing. In 2005 they came back fourth, and in 2007 they came third for the fifth time.

World cup

The previous tournaments of the World Cup took place without Venezuela.

World Grand Prix

Venezuela has not yet participated in the World Grand Prix tournaments .
