The Paraguayan national volleyball team of men is a selection of the best Paraguayan players that the Federación Paraguaya de Voleibol represents at international tournaments and internationals.
history
World Championship
In 1960, Paraguay finished twelfth in the only ever participation in a volleyball world championship .
Olympic games
Paraguay has never qualified for the Olympic Games.
South American Championship
At the South American Volleyball Championship in 1956, the Paraguayans were third. Two years later they only had to admit defeat to hosts Brazil . After two fourth places, they were fifth in 1967 and in 1971 they were only seventh. At the tournaments in 1975 and 1977 they were fifth again and in 1979 they won their third medal in third. In 1981 they took sixth place. From 1987 to 2007 they were always there and the results fluctuated between fourth and ninth place.
World cup
In the World Cup , Paraguay has not been played.
World league
The world league has also taken place without Paraguayan participation so far.
