The Chilean national volleyball team is a selection of the best Chilean players, who represent the Federación de Voleibol de Chile in international tournaments and internationals.
history
World Championship
In 1982, Chile finished 22nd in the only ever participation in a volleyball world championship .
Olympic games
Chile has never qualified for the Olympic Games.
South American Championship
At the South American volleyball championship in 1961, the Chilean women finished fourth as well as a year later in their own country. In the years 1967 to 1981, they fluctuated between fourth and sixth place (they were missing in 1969). After the seventh place in 1987, they were always there from 1991 to 2001 and achieved placements between five and seven. In 2005 it was only eighth. When the Chileans hosted again in 2007, they finished seventh.
World cup
Chile has not yet played in the World Cup .
World league
The World Grand Prix has so far taken place without Chilean participation.
