The Peruvian national volleyball team is a selection of the best Peruvian players who represent the Federación Peruana de Voleibol at international tournaments and internationals.

history

World Championship

In 1960, Peru finished 14th in the only ever participation in a volleyball world championship .

Olympic games

Peru has never qualified for the Olympic Games.

South American Championship

At the first South American volleyball championship , the Peruvians finished third in 1951 and fourth five years later. After third place in 1961, they deteriorated to seventh place the following year. After finishing sixth in 1971 and eighth in 1975, they ranked fourth as hosts in 1977 and sixth in 1979. There were similar results from 1985 to 1991. After the missed tournament in 1993, the Peruvians finished fifth, fourth and eighth. They finished seventh at the last South American Championship.

World cup

In the World Cup Peru has not yet played.

World league

The world league has also taken place without Peruvian participation.
