The rose variety Yesterday was bred by Jack Harkness in 1974 from the long-established parent varieties ('Phyllis Bide' × 'Shepherd's Delight') × 'Ballerina' . It has panicles with 5 - 25 slightly fragrant, carmine-purple flowers that fade to pink - with a light center and yellow stamens. The Floribunda rose has healthy foliage and forms a regular shrub about 1 m high.
'Yesterday' is a versatile, hardy variety which, thanks to its permanently remontant flowering in a mixed herbaceous border, creates a colorful accent until autumn.
