Yin Qiao

Yin Qiao ( Chinese  殷 俏 , Pinyin Yīn Qiǎo ; born July 2, 1985 in Jilin ) is a Chinese biathlete .

Yin has been practicing biathlon since 1999. The sports soldier lives in Dalian and is trained by Klaus Siebert and Liang Lu. She starts for the Chinese Biathlon Association and has been part of the Chinese national team since 2003. She made her Biathlon World Cup debut in 2004 in a sprint (41st) in Lake Placid . At the start of the 2004/05 season in Beitostølen she reached ninth place in the sprint. She was one place better at the 2006 mass start in Pokljuka and at the 2006 individual race in Hochfilzen . Her best placement with the relay was a sixth place in 2005 in Oberhof .

At the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin , she was used in singles (31st). At the 2005 World Championships in Hochfilzen she started in the sprint (14th), pursuit (39th), the mass start (26th) and in the relay (11th).
