Yinon Azulai ( Hebrew ינון אזולאי, born July 10, 1979 in Israel ) is an Israeli politician of the Shas party and a member of the Knesset , the parliament of his home country. He is a son of longtime Knesset MP and Minister David Azulai, who died in October 2018 .

Yinon Azulai also ran for a seat in the Knesset in the 2015 election, albeit unsuccessfully. After his father resigned his mandate for health reasons, Azulai was able to move up to parliament on March 14, 2018 . Previously, several of his party colleagues on the Shas list had waived their right to the mandate. In the election for the 21st Knesset in April 2019, Azulai was able to defend his parliamentary seat.

Yinon Azulai lives in Ashdod .
