The Ylläsjoki is a river in the west of Finnish Lapland .
It has its origins in the winter sports area of Ylläsjärvi at the foot of Yllästunturi in Lake Ylläsjärvi . From there it flows through the municipality of Kolari in a south-westerly direction. It has numerous meanders. After 61 km it reaches the Muonionjoki , in whose eastern river arm it flows at the place Kolari. It therefore belongs to the Finnish part of the Tornionjoki catchment area .
