Joel Burgueño , full name Joel Orozmán Burgueño Marcant , (born February 15, 1988 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
The 1.69 meter tall offensive player Burgueño was a member of the professional squad of Club Sportivo Cerrito in the Segunda División at the beginning of his career from Apertura 2007 . After the first division promotion played six games in the Primera División in the 2009/10 season with the Montevideans and scored one goal. Also in the first division season 2011/12 22 league appearances and three goals are recorded for him. In July 2012 he joined the first division club Cerro Largo FC . After nine first division games with his participation (two goals) and one use (no goal) in the Copa Sudamericana , he moved to Rocha FC in the second half of January 2013 . With the East Uruguayans he ran twelve times (three goals) in the league. At the beginning of September 2013 he started working for the second division club Villa Teresa . What followed was a very successful second division season 2013/14 for him personally, in which he scored eleven times in 25 appearances in the opposing goal. Since the Apertura 2014 he has been in the ranks of the first division club El Tanque Sisley . In the 2014/15 season he was used 28 times in the top Uruguayan league and scored 16 goals. On July 23, 2015, he was introduced as a new addition to the Paraguayan club Club Libertad, which is trained by Éver Almeida . After five league appearances and three games in the Copa Sudamericana 2015 - each without a personal goal - he moved to the Uruguayan first division club Atlético Rentistas at the turn of the year 2015/2016 . For the Montevideans he was used in twelve first division games in the 2016 Clausura and scored five goals. At the beginning of August 2016, he joined the Chilean club CD Antofagasta , where he played in four first division matches (no goal). The Racing Club de Montevideo signed him at the beginning of January 2017 . In the 2017 season he was used there 21 times (four goals) in the Primera División. In mid-August 2017, he moved to El Tanque Sisley.
