Yolanthe Sneijder-Cabau
Yolanthe Sneijder-Cabau (* 19th March 1985 in Ibiza , Spain as Yolanthe Cabau van Kasbergen ) is a Spanish - Dutch actress .
life and career
Sneijder-Cabau was born as Yolanthe Cabau van Kasbergen in Ibiza. Her father Xavier Cabau (1954–2007) was Spanish, her mother Richarda van Kasbergen was Dutch. Xavier Cabau was known in Ibiza as the "King of Ibiza" and owned several discos, restaurants and bars. Her childhood was marked by domestic violence, not least because her father used drugs due to financial problems. The then five-year-old fled to the Netherlands with her mother. She has seven siblings and five half-siblings from her father's second marriage.
For the first time Sneijder-Cabau was seen in the Dutch productions Snowfever and Costa! . From 2005 to 2008 she had a recurring role in the soap opera Onderweg naar morgen . In 2006, Sneijder-Cabau starred in the short film Turkse chick .
In 2006, 2007 and 2009 Sneijder-Cabau was voted “meest sexy vrouw” in the Dutch edition of the FHM .
Private
Sneijder-Cabau was in a relationship with the singer Jan Smit from 2007 to 2009 . In 2009 she started a relationship with soccer player Wesley Sneijder . On July 17, 2010, the two married in Tuscany , Italy . After her marriage, she changed her surname to Sneijder-Cabau.
She is the co-founder and ambassador of Stop Kindermisbruik , a foundation that combats child sexual abuse.
