Sayuri Yoshii ( Japanese 吉 井 小百合 Yoshii Sayuri ; born November 28, 1984 in Chino , Nagano Prefecture ) is a Japanese speed skater . She belongs to the professional team of the Japanese company Sankyo Seiki.

Sprint specialist Yoshii, Sayuri made her World Cup debut in December 2003 at a World Cup in Calgary . In her third race she was already in the top 10 (8th place over 500 meters). She celebrated her first and so far only victory at the World Cup final in Heerenveen in March 2006 over 500 meters.

At the 2004 Asian Championships in Chuncheon , she was fourth over 500 and sixth over 1000 meters. At the Sprint World Championships 2005 in Salt Lake City , she was also fourth, at the individual distance world championships of the same year in Inzell again fourth and tenth over 1000 meters. At the Sprint World Championships 2006 in Heerenveen, she was eighth. At the 2006 Winter Olympics , she competed over 500 (9th) and 1000 meters (15th). At the 2010 Sprint World Championships in Obihiro, she finished second.
