Yoshimi Sasahara ( Japanese 笹 原 義 巳 , Sasahara Yoshimi ; born April 2, 1974 in Kagoshima Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Sasahara learned to play soccer on the school team at Kagoshima Jitsugyo High School and the university team at the National Institute of Fitness and Sports in Kanoya . He signed his first contract with Honda FC in 1997 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Football League . For the club he completed 13 games. In 1999 he moved to the second division side Kawasaki Frontale . In 1999 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose to the J1 League . In 2000 he reached the final of the J.League Cup . At the end of the 2000 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. For the club he completed 22 games. At the end of 2001 he ended his career as a football player. Then he played for the Sagan Tosu .
